Duke Nukem Forever Lives January 28, 2007

Posted by dpcough in Xbox/ Xbox 360 General.

Duke Nukem Forever has been in development by who knows how long. Ten Years maybe? I don’t know. It is supposedly the sequel to Duke Nukem 3-D. I wrote the game off but a screenshot has been released by 3D Realms of the game on ShackNews and a job posting on Gamastrua had the same picture then the president of 3D Relams went on forums and said that is was a pic for the job listing and the game will be shown off soon! They are deciding how to best show it off. I would like a bigger screenshot but the game lives!

What is even better is that the job listing is for two platforms, Xbox 360 and Windows! (Live Anywhere please) Another exclusive on for Microsoft!

More like 15 it seems. Didn’t I play it back in college back in the early 90’s? 🙂

We were just talking about Duke Nukem 3-D in the office last week. I believe it came out around 1995 or 1996 (I’d have to check on that). The game is still in my collection, though it doesn’t work on my new system. I always got a kick out of it when you would go into the bar and click on the karaoke mic to sing “Born to be wild.” Hahaha

We were actually just talking about this, Live anywhere would really set this game off. That is if it ever comes out.

Hey every one,

This is actually pretty interesting, because its been five years since they’ve done any type of media regarding Duke nukem forever. (I could be wrong) But I think the last thing they released was the 2001 trailer.

Here’s a direct link to the trailer. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iPX_y7wP_ko
