Halo 4 Confirmed [UPDATE 3] February 19, 2007Posted by dpcough in halo.
Today Bungie started to auction off a cameo voice over in Halo 3. That’s good to know, Bungie is supporting charity work in the process as all proceeds go to a charity. Upon closer inspection of the description a very important detail is there:
“Voiceover will be recorded at Blindlight Studios in Hollywood, CA before May 15, 2007 or this package will have to redeemed for Halo 4.”
Bungie has previously stated that Halo 3 would be the last in the Halo trilogy. Everyone knows the Halo universe wouldn’t be abandoned but that is the first confirmation that a new Halo is in the works. What are your suggestions for Halo 4 and who is gonna win the Halo 3 cameo? Tell us what you say in Halo when you get back from the trip!
UPDATE 1: A lot of people keep saying I was incorrect in posting this and should’ve contacted someone to prove validity of story, I didn’t because it is President’s Day. When I found the story I found a site by the name of Mission Fish and proves the story is true, I assumed everyone would think the story is true – sorry for not providing a link I considered invaluable. Learned a new way to report today, if it helped you with report – put it in! 🙂 lol
UPDATE 2: Someone sent the story into Joystiq. They contacted the company Hollywood-Arts. The Halo line was written by Bungie and is Halo 4, but it could mean Halo Wars. the story is true and this is even more evidence of it.
UPDATE 3: Finally Bungie has commented on the situation, he says the Halo 4 line was a joke by the person who wrote it. Or is Frank joking? You don’t get a voiceover in Halo 4, I mean no voice over at all because there is no Halo 4 so there isn’t even a chance of a voiceover in Halo 4. So no announcement or maybe it was but Bungie said it wasn’t but Hollywood Arts said above you would get a voiceover in Halo 4 or Halo Wars, they just were contradicting each others statements.
