That is the upcoming issue of Game Informer, that sure will sell a lot of copies or scans onto the internet. Grand Theft Auto IV Exclusive News and All Pro Football 2K8, one big issue I’d say!

If you plan on buying Guitar Hero II this week stop by Circuit City to purchase the game, you get 1600 FREE Marketplace Points with your Guitar Hero II purchase.

Then there is a deal on it where you get $10 off with this coupon at Best Buy. In the Best Buy ad it also said you get a $10 gift card with every $100 purchase so you get $10 off Guitar Hero II then if you spend $20 more dollars you get $10 extra dollars for the next time you go to Best Buy. If I see any more deals for the game I’ll post them.

New Gears Update March 31, 2007

A new update will be released for Gears of War soon. Here are the details from Mark Rein over at the Gears of War forums,

“The next title update for Gears of War is currently going through the certification process. We’ll have more detail about the update next week but I can tell you that in addition to fixing a whole bunch of glitches, and providing 720p for VGA users running at 1280×1024, it will contain a brand new multiplayer gametype called Annex.

Some folks who got to play it a few weeks ago said they think it is our best multiplayer gametype yet but I’ll leave it for you fans to decide what you think for yourself when it shows up soon on Xbox Live. More details next week.”

Hopefully there are the new maps and weapons we rumored a bit ago. A new game type is true so whos not to say the weapons and maps aren’t either?

How Elite is Elite 360? March 30, 2007

The Xbox 360 Elite has been unveiled and announced.  But how Elite is it really? It’s Black, has HDMI, and a larger hard drive, that’s it. Look for an Emergency Live Gamer Editorial soon, and it makes the Xbox 360 Elite look not so “Elite” Live Gamer Nation, and that’s not so good.

Too Human… Part 1? March 30, 2007

Microsoft wants to venture into episodic gaming and the Halo by Peter Jackson will be episodic. They stated there is one more project that would also be episodic. Is it Too Human? Most games during their original release just have a name but Too Human’s name is listed as Too Human Part 1 on the EB Games listing, this name has been on several release schedules also. So is it episodic or a real trilogy? I’m not a fan of episodic content but as long as it isn’t $59.99 I could consider buying it.

New Halo 2 Maps March 30, 2007

I said I wouldn’t be here for a few days but need to update you all on this with the Halo 2 Maps!

The king of “Halo” maps has returned at last. Hang ’Em High, arguably the most popular multiplayer map for the original title, has been reimagined for “Halo 2” as Tombstone, with all-new graphics, features and a few hidden surprises. Now fans will enjoy the dangerous catwalks and trenches that made this the most requested “Halo” multiplayer map ever, with a modernized “Halo 2” flavor.

The second map, Desolation, is a symmetrical, Deathmatch-oriented map and a beautiful remake of the original Derelict. With new graphics and effects and a massive gameplay overhaul, the old favorite is now faster-paced and more balanced than ever — perfect for intense “Halo 2” combat.

Last time the subject on this was brought up Microsoft stated these maps would be exclusive for Xbox 360, guess there were some issues and now they will be released through the in-game Halo 2 downloaded for $4. You need a credit card to download these two new maps. These maps are both from Halo and not new but will no doubt look better. The maps release on April 17 and original Xbox owners also get to download the content.

I won’t be updating for a few days guys, sorry. Some things are going on right now. Look for me to be back when ever, not sure but I’ll be back in a few days probably. If you need any updates visit The Xbox Domain. Look for the same great coverage when I get back.
